Festivals, Masterclasses, & Broadcasts

Mr. Curtis's work has led him to participate in several festivals, masterclasses, and broadcasts including serving as a vocal guest on WXXI Backstage Pass's “Weill in Rochester,” a festival artist at the 2013 Lotte Lehmann Masterclasses, and a guest artist at a 2011 masterclass at the University of Virginia.

Arts Outreach

A deep passion for the arts motivates Benjamin Curtis in all that he does, especially his arts outreach work with Asheville Lyric Opera, Loudoun Lyric Opera, and Center City Opera. Mr. Curtis's outreach work includes youth programs, flashmobs, and community workshops.


Mr. Curtis was a winner of the Choralis Artist Competition and was a finalist in the annual Rochester Classical idol Competition held by the Rochester Oratorio Society. He also participated in the Friends of Eastman Opera competition as a finalist. Benjamin also received a Jury Honors award from the Eastman School of Music and the Outstanding Vocalist of the Year award from Liberty University.
